The PLANET DKVM-1708 is the drawer KVM with single-rail console design offering industrial level input solution. Its rail can be simply locked into the rack and then the network administrator can conveniently pull the KVM console to control the server system. It also supplies Combo VGA cable set for easily connecting to the console ports of your KVM Switch, regardless of the connected port interface USB or PS/2.
The DKVM-1708 enables the administrators to centrally manage the network system efficiently with its combo-free KVM Switch modules which are loaded with rich features, such as one local console port, Daisy chain capability, On Screen Display (OSD) menu, Password security, Searching PC server name, Hot key control, Push button and Auto-Scan control, complete keyboard and mouse emulation for simultaneously PC boot-up processes.
Easy to Install
By the unique separate rail design of the DKVM-1708, users can install the KVM console easily. In case you need to maintain the console, you can easily uninstall without affecting the server above or below.
Modular KVM Switches
The users can use the DKVM-1708 as single port console or through some simple action and few screws to be 8 ports KVM Switch.
Common Keyboard Languages Support
The DKVM-1708 supports several common languages in the world including English, Germany, French, Italian, Spanish, and Chinese on its keyboard so that the device can be easily applied in most of the countries.
Powerful Mouse / Keyboard Support
In the present computer applications, a mouse is essential for system control. The DKVM-1708 fully supports all PS/2 compatible mice in the market such as Logitech, Microsoft, IBM and etc. It provides the PS/2 Keyboard Port of the CODE SET1/2/3 and further allows you to use the KVM for all kinds of servers, PCs or their combinations.
The Combo-Free KVM can be connected to any PC or server directly without concern of keyboard / mouse interface compatibility.
